Our Story
Beginnings (1998)
Curiosity and a passion for chemistry pushed us to tackle a classic problem in tyres: flats. Our goal was clear—create a Tyre Protection Solution that improves tyres’ intrinsic performance.

The Problem
Tyres cushion shocks brilliantly, but they’re vulnerable to punctures. Progress demanded better ideas—hence the rise of anti-flat solutions.

Innovation as a Rule
After extensive lab and field testing—often in extreme endurance conditions—we developed a product patented nationally and internationally.
Initial name: X-Treme Tyre Protection
Since 2008: FAKIR TYRE PROTECTION
Trademarked at OSIM (Romania) and OHIM (now EUIPO)

How “Fakir” Was Born
During a live demo, someone joked we were practicing “fakirism” or the paranormal—because the tyre survived a literal bed of nails. The name stuck, and the product had found its personality.

Built to Endure
Over time, we increased durability and reliability across harsher conditions:
High pressures and temperatures
Repeated centrifugal motion
Oxidizing environments

We became our own toughest clients - testing in our labs and in accredited independent labs to validate real-world performance.
